Kevin Fedewa is a dedicated educator and language specialist with a background and experience in language studies and language program coordination. He is pursuing his Ph.D. in Second Language Studies at Michigan State University. His research interests lie in the intersection of language acquisition, second language writing, and language program development. He also holds an M.A. in TESOL and an M.A. in Chinese Studies.
As a Global Professor and Project Coordinator at the University of Arizona's Microcampus in Qingdao, China, Kevin coordinates the English Foundations Writing Program. His responsibilities include teaching Foundations Writing courses, organizing team meetings, providing curriculum support to new faculty, and organizing extracurricular activities for second year students. In his classes, he aims to provide a challenging, yet supportive learning environment to enhance students' English writing proficiencies.
Kevin’s 15 years in language teaching and experience in curriculum development, language program coordination and management, and study abroad coordination demonstrate his commitment to fostering language proficiency and cultural understanding among his students.
